Schaffer MMA provides a variety of services from Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai classes to personal training.

The Schaffer family has a long history of martial arts and wrestling. Joseph Jr., Jake and John all participated in their school district and wrestling clubs in Hamburg, New York. They all studied martial arts since the young age of 3-4 years old.

After watching the boys for several years in martial arts and wrestling, Joe Sr. decided to try it out for himself.  Joe Sr., Joe Jr., Jake and John all moved up the ranks in Kung Fu and wrestling, holding several different belts and awards.

Joe Jr. participated in many Muay Thai and Kickboxing competitions and one MMA Cage Fight.  

Schaffer MMA is proud to train with you and their teammates, Ernest Johnson (EJ) and Andrew Lammerhirt.

A Rescued Cat's Home Between Homes

Tabby Town - Cat Adoption Center/Friends for Felines, Inc - a local no-kill, non-profit organization based out of Blasdell, NY. Founded in 2009, Tabby Town is a unique cat adoption center and rescue cooperative, formed to increase successful cat adoptions throughout Western New York by working collaboratively with the area rescue community to provide a "home between homes" for cats waiting to be adopted.

Located in the McKinley Mall, Tabby Town is managed by a committed team of volunteers who nurture and care for the cats daily and focus on providing comfort, care and love in a safe, clean and happy environment. We truly provide a "home between homes" for homeless cats ensuring they are healthy, enriched and, most importantly, loved.

Tabby Town is fully committed to facilitating all necessary medical and emotional care to further adoption and work closely with veterinary partners and the animal welfare community to decrease euthanasia across our area. All Tabby Town cats and kittens are spayed or neutered and given proper veterinary care upon their arrival and during their stay. A rescued cat is a happy cat! We are currently doing adoptions by appointment, please schedule a time for a visit. In the meantime, visit our gallery!
